Job description
We are looking for a highly skilled System Integrator/Controls Engineer to support our offshore and land-based operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PLC based control systems and associated HMI/Scada applications.
Core Competencies:
- High level problem solving.
- Skilled in PLC programming and HMI/Scada configuration.
- PLC based control panel design.
- Self-Starter. Ability to work alone or as part of a team with little involvement from management.
- Allen Bradley PLC/Rockwell Software experience is a must. Wonderware and Ignition experience a plus.
- Configuration of wired and wireless Ethernet and serial networks.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
- Champions the company's safety, environmental, and ethics policies.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: BS in Engineering + 3 years of control system experience. Candidates without a degree but with extensive experience will be considered.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with travel to industrial sites for system commissioning, troubleshooting, etc.
- Field work may involve travel to anywhere in the continental US, but mostly limited to Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
- Work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to high winds, confined spaces, and heavy machinery.
- Travel offshore may be required from time to time.
