Overview

A rapidly growing private credit fund is expanding seeking a
Senior Credit Portfolio Manager / Underwriter
to join a lean, high-impact team. The fund is scaling across multiple markets, offering significant
upward mobility
, visibility to leadership, and the opportunity to mentor junior analysts while remaining a hands-on individual contributor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead underwriting and portfolio management for transactions ranging from
    $10–100M
  • Independently run deal processes focusing in Life Sciences, including financial modeling, due diligence, and preparation of credit materials
  • Engage with clients, sponsors, and cross-functional teams to support deal execution and ongoing portfolio monitoring

Qualifications

  • 7+ years
    of credit underwriting experience within private credit, direct lending, leveraged finance, or related disciplines
  • Proven ability to independently manage underwriting and portfolio responsibilities
  • Background in
    M&A
    ,
    workout/restructuring
    , or special situations is highly beneficial
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with interest in long-term growth into broader responsibilities
