Are you skilled in wood finishing and take pride in your craftsmanship? Join our team at Nucraft Furniture, where we handcraft quality furniture with attention to detail and timeless style.

We're currently hiring a Stain Booth Technician and a Shade Deck Technician to work in our finishing department, where your work will directly have an impact on the beauty and quality of our furniture.

Hours: 5-2 M-F and 5-9 on Fridays. Mandatory overtime is required as schedules dictate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply wood stains, sealers, and topcoats using spray equipment and hand-finishing techniques
  • Must be able to wear respirator with proper fit and function
  • Match custom stain colors to meet design and customer specifications
  • Maintain high-quality standards for finish consistency and color uniformity
  • Perform touch-ups, repairs, and corrections as needed on wood furniture components
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stain booth environment
  • Work collaboratively with production, sanding, and quality control teams

Ideal Candidate:

  • 1+ years of experience in furniture finishing or wood staining (a must) and be able to prove it.
  • Must be able to pass a color test and understand basic color concepts
  • Comfortable using HVLP spray guns and other finishing tools
  • Strong eye for color, wood grain, and detail
  • Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
