Office/Project Manager — Construction Company (R&J Construction Services)

Location: Port Orchard, WA (projects span North Tacoma to Bainbridge Island)

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage or salary DOE

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and organized Office/Project Manager who can balance both field and office responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to keep multiple projects running smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Order and track materials for multiple jobs
  • Assist in writing and organizing project estimates and proposals
  • Schedule projects and ensure deadlines are met
  • Visit job sites to meet with clients and check progress
  • Deliver materials to job sites when needed
  • Maintain organized job files, budgets, and reports
  • Support the owner in daily operations and problem-solving

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in construction, project management, or related field
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to travel locally between job sites (company vehicle or mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (with occasional flexibility for project needs)
