As a Security Officer - Mall Badge Desk in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entrances and exits at a busy retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your visible presence and routine patrols create a welcoming environment, while your focus on customer service and communication supports a positive experience for everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including those related to access control.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at the retail location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols specific to the retail environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behaviors.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or maintenance needs observed during shifts.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and location management.
• Work collaboratively with store personnel to address access control concerns and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and communicate any concerns or observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or location management as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
