Scope of Work:
Capio Group is looking for an experienced and qualified Business Process Re-engineering Consultant to work as a part of the team on leading the transformation of the client current SAP ECC, CRM and other on-premise SAP systems to the latest SAP software version, RISE with SAP. This project emphasizes industry regulations and rules, implementing best practices in data quality, data migration, change management, and training services. The Consultant shall also manage the project BPR activities, delivering effective management through the entire project lifecycle, including clear communications of project status, risks, issues, decisions, and remediation plans to executives and other stakeholders. 

As part of the team, the Business Process Re-engineering Consultant will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to:

  • Support the delivery of IT solutions by adhering to Project Management Lifecycle and Software Development Lifecycle best practices.
  • Manage relationships with business customers and help identify business problems or opportunities. Identify and assist in prioritizing opportunities to streamline business processes.
  • Analyze and recommend information technology solutions based on program business needs and enterprise IT strategies.
  • Obtain a deep understanding of relevant business area(s) to be able to recommend solutions and build high-quality requirements.
  • Shape business requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, technical/non-technical staff, business stakeholders, and management to deliver business outcomes.
  • Work with business stakeholders to facilitate business process improvement/re-engineering, including the documentation of as-is and to-be analysis, workflows, processes.
  • Work with business and technical staff to elicit business and technical requirements and support the development and maintenance of the requirements traceability matrix.
  • Participate in solution alternatives analysis to determine appropriate solutions to meet defined business needs.
  • Develop system design documentation to map business requirements to solution capabilities.
  • Create test scripts and support the execution of user acceptance testing.
  • Create end-user training materials, user guides, and support the delivery of end user training.
    Support project reporting activities and other project management activities, as necessary
  • Understand options, limitations, and risks. Communicate tradeoffs to business partners and work with them to shape requirements accordingly.
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into clear, detailed functional requirements.
  • Help resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating stakeholder discussions and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Manage requirements scoping throughout the delivery process.
  • Create artifacts as appropriate, including business case documentation, scope documentation, and process flow.
  • Support delivery teams as they develop, test, and deploy solutions.
  • Review delivery team output to ensure requirements are correctly interpreted; define and execute test cases.
  • Document current processes and models to understand inefficiencies or gaps.

Mandatory Experience:
  1. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects. 
  2. Must have at least three (3) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects must have been in business systems analysis and design.
  3. Must possess  a bachelor's degree. A copy of the degree must be provided upon request. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  4. Must have a minimum five (5) years of experience in the Information Technology field performing Business Analysis, Business Process Reengineering or similar work determining the explicit and implicit needs and requirements of various stakeholders.
  5. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience preparing documents related to Business Process Reengineering (BPR), swim lane diagrams, activity diagrams, process flows, etc. using industry-standard tools.
  6. Must have three (3) years' of experience authoring complex reports and technical documents, and documenting lessons learned for business process reengineering projects.
  7. A minimum of three (3) years of experience creating or reviewing workflows (As-Is and To-Be diagrams, value stream maps), documenting process improvement opportunities and possible savings, identifying wasteful steps, developing graphic representations, and executing process change strategies.
  8. Must have a minimum three (3) years of previous working experience as an Business Process Re-engineering Consultant on SAP S/4HANA Transformations, implementations, and Migration Projects.
Desirable Experience:
  1. A minimum two (2) years of experience with the U.S. electric utility industry or similar Public Utility industry.
  2. A minimum of  three (3) years of experience in writing and developing requirement activities such as: facilitate requirement discussions, elicit, and document business and technical requirements, develop requirements traceability matrix, create test scripts/scenarios, perform testing, defects tracking, capture objective metrics, and create or update project documentation. 
  3. A Minimum of three (3) years' experience analyzing business processes and procedures to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities focused on optimal throughput.
  4. Possession of one or more certifications from the following:
    1. International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) Certification
    2. Project Management Institute (PMI) Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) Certification
    3. Lean Six Sigma – Green or Black Belt Certification
    4. PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
    5. Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
    6. An active PMI Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) certification.
  5. Possession of one or more certifications from the following: A copy of the certification must be provided upon request.
