Sales Manager

The Sales Manager leads a team of sales consultants to drive revenue growth, achieve company and supplier goals, and strengthen key account relationships. This role is responsible for training, motivating, and directing a sales team; implementing strategic sales plans; and monitoring performance to ensure consistent achievement of objectives.

This position reports to the Sales Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop sales consultants to meet and exceed targets.
  • Execute sales plans, programs, and initiatives in line with company strategies.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and address challenges proactively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and supplier partners.
  • Oversee market activities to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive intelligence.
  • Manage administrative functions including reporting, expense control, and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Knowledge of wine, sprits and the adult beverage industry.
  • Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in the beverage, food, or related industry.
  • Strong coaching, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships and lead high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency with sales analytics tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned market.

The expected pay range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000. Actual placement within the range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experiences and expertise.
