A leading data center development and investment firm serving hyper scalers is seeking a Strategic Associate General Counsel (AGC/DGC) to lead all legal matters for its rapidly growing data center platform. Reporting to the Group GC, this attorney will oversee end-to-end legal matters across transactions, development, and operations.

Role

  • Serve as the lead counsel for the firm's U.S. data center business.
  • Negotiate and execute complex real estate, construction, and commercial transactions.
  • Oversee day-to-day legal matters including construction and government agreements, service contracts, purchase orders, and internal governance documents.
  • Advise senior leadership on risk management, deal structuring, and long-term strategy for ground-up data center developments.
  • Build scalable legal processes to support continued growth and institutionalization.

Candidate

  • J.D. and bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 8+ years of experience, including strong Big Law training.
  • Proven track record in transactional and commercial legal work related to real estate, data center development, or digital infrastructure.
  • Strong commercial instincts and ability to operate as a strategic business partner.
