Cupertino Towing, a leader in the towing industry, is now hiring Battery Service Technicians. This position is part-time and has competitive wages. Schedule and hours will fluctatuate. Position has the potentional to move to full-time depending on performance.

Qualifications:

  • Possess basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Must have a valid CA Driver's License and a driving record that meets company policy and insurance requirements.
  • Successfully pass drug tests in compliance with company policy, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, and the company's contractual requirements.
  • Must submit and pass a background check as per company policy and the company's contractual requirements.

Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responds to calls from dispatch in a safe, timely manner. Provide roadside assistance in a safe, professional manner– free of accidents, injuries, and damage.
  • Professionally and safely performs emergency road service duties.
  • Inspects truck and related equipment, tools, and rigging inventory. Completes and submits a pre-shift inspection prior to beginning duty each day.
  • Maintains truck fluid levels according to manufacturer standards and notes quantities added on the pre-shift inspection sheet.
  • Performs minor truck service and maintenance activities as may be requested by management.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $22 - $35 per hour
  • Monthly Bonus Program
  • Average Weekly Pay: $1,000-$2,000
  • Average Monthly Pay: $3,900-$7,000
  • Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
  • Paid Training
