CENTRAN LOGISTICS is currently looking to add to our first shift logistics team.

Fun, Fast paced office environment

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and manage drayage moves from port/rail ramp to warehouse or final destination
  • Arrange and oversee transload operations (ocean container → truckload, etc.)
  • Communicate with carriers, warehouses, and customers to ensure smooth handoffs
  • Negotiate competitive rates with dray carriers and transload facilities
  • Track and trace shipments, providing updates to customers
  • Resolve issues such as delays, accessorials, and equipment shortages

  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers, port/rail contacts, and warehouses

  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships between Centran Logistics and our selected carriers and customers.

  • Audit shipment invoices for proper rate assessment and charges.

  • Perform daily tracking of LTL and Truckload shipments.

  • Contact, negotiate and secure carriers for available/open customer loads.

Looking for the following qualifications.

-Professional phone and email etiquette

-Fundamental understanding of container transportation and logistics

-Strong problem solving and time management skills

-Ability to follow process and standard procedures

-Able to work in a fast-paced, detail oriented environment
