Job Summary

AirMark Corporation is seeking a dynamic Customer Support / Purchasing Specialist to be part of our team. This position will provide top-notch customer service and support through phone and email communication, buying and order processing, quality control, and other special projects. Duties

  • Engage with customers via phone and email, offering support and information about our products and services
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, escalating complex issues to technical specialists
  • Take proactive steps to resolve customer concerns and ensure satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues related to inventory, invoicing, and purchasing
  • Purchase product to maintain proper stock and perform stock forecasting
  • Order and receive drop shipments
  • Input and print orders, invoices, quotes, and pick slips in a timely and accurate manner
  • Research inventory discrepancies
  • Receive product invoices, perform invoice compilation, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution
  • Collect and enter orders for new or additional products or services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Initiate Vendor Returns in a timely manner with ownership to completion
  • Provide comprehensive product details, including specifications, pricing, availability, and alternative options
  • Efficiently process customer orders and returns, ensuring accuracy at all times
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and feedback

Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding service and resolving customer issues
  • Proficient computer skills, adaptable to learning new software platforms
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in customer service or support required
  • 2-5 years purchaser/buyer experience preferred
  • Ability to work at a desk for extended periods, utilizing a computer
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds when necessary
