We currently see a contrarian opportunity in real estate investing and are launching a private equity initiative focused on institutional-quality assets, with a focus on multifamily properties. This effort is optimized to serve investors and is a strategic priority. We are quickly adding to the leadership team.
In parallel, we are rapidly advancing AI-powered tech targeting inefficiencies in real estate and adjacent sectors. Our tools are transforming maintenance, leasing, compliance, insurance, and more. With ten ventures already generating revenue, we are early in a long-term effort to create over a trillion dollars in economic impact and, more importantly, enduring societal value.
Based primarily in Texas and Florida with remote operations nationwide, Rex builds with a dual mandate: generate strong, downside protected returns and uplift humanity. We are seeking professionals ready to help scale this platform and drive global impact.
The Opportunity
Rex is seeking a Head of Operations to lead our portfolio of ten AI-driven technology ventures, each conceived and built from scratch and now generating revenue. Several products have established leadership teams and are scaling, while others are emerging from zero to one and are go-to-market ready. This operator will drive performance across engineering, product, and commercial functions, instilling speed, precision, and accountability at every level. They thrive on building structure from scratch and love launching, moving fast, testing, and iterating until traction hits. They bring creative problem-solving under constraint, translating vision into coordinated execution across engineering, product, and go-to-market. They operate with urgency, resourcefulness, and contagious energy that elevates performance across the team. The ideal candidate has 6-9 years of experience and is an execution-driven builder with a proven record of scaling tech ventures, ideally as Head of Operations. Must command respect from technical teams, with deep experience leading high-performing engineering and product organizations, while also driving commercialization, revenue growth, and disciplined sales execution. Proficient in full-stack marketing, from website and SEO/AEO to digital ads, events, and social media, integrating brand, growth, and performance marketing into a unified engine that drives demand and accelerates adoption across products. Requires elite business judgment, sharp product sense, strong people management, and the ability to build and enforce systems that scale. This role demands grit, clarity of thought, and entrepreneurial intensity; someone who thrives in bringing order to chaos, is data-driven and AI-fluent, and works as hardcore as a competitive athlete. Must be missionary to the bone, passionate to build and launch tech companies to catalyze human flourishing. Fully remote, with preference for Austin as home base.
The Role
The Head of Operations will oversee Rex's portfolio of ten AI-driven technology ventures, guiding each to scale. This leader will drive operational excellence across engineering, product, and commercial functions, ensuring each venture moves with speed, precision, and accountability. The ideal candidate is an execution-driven builder who thrives in the zero to one environment, turns chaos into clarity, and scales ventures through disciplined systems and world class team leadership. This individual will balance technical depth with commercial instincts, aligning engineering rigor, product excellence, and revenue generation under a unified operational framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational performance across a diverse portfolio of AI-driven technology ventures, driving alignment between engineering, product, and go-to-market teams
- Build structure and systems that enable fast iteration, measurable progress, and scalable execution across all ventures
- Partner closely with product and technical leads to ensure rapid delivery cycles, clear accountability, and data-driven decision-making
- Oversee go-to-market launches and revenue scaling, integrating sales execution with brand, growth, and performance marketing
- Develop and manage KPIs that drive speed, efficiency, and profitability across ventures
- Optimize cross-functional collaboration, ensuring seamless communication and coordination among leadership teams
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement processes to remove friction and accelerate execution
- Foster a high-performance culture grounded in urgency, resourcefulness, and entrepreneurial drive
- Manage and mentor high-performing leaders across product, engineering, and commercial teams
Qualifications
- 6 to 9 years of progressive experience in operations, product, or venture leadership, ideally as Head of Operations or in a similar executive role
- Proven track record of scaling technology ventures from zero to one and beyond
- Deep experience leading engineering, product, and go-to-market organizations with an emphasis on speed and disciplined execution
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success driving revenue growth and managing P&L performance
- Proficiency across full-stack marketing (SEO/AEO, digital ads, events, and social media) with the ability to integrate brand, growth, and performance marketing
- Exceptional business judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability under constraint
- AI-fluent and comfortable operating in high-velocity, data-driven environments
- Outstanding communication, leadership presence, and the ability to inspire technical and commercial teams alike

Compensation
Base Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 annually. + potential equity/bonus
