HR/Office Manager

Position Overview

We're seeking a proactive HR/Office Manager to manage office operations, human resources functions, and caregiver scheduling. This multifaceted role ensures smooth administrative processes and consistent, quality care delivery.

What You'll Do:

HR & Recruiting

  • Screen, interview, and onboard candidates
  • Administer background checks and ensure employee compliance
  • Maintain employee files and HRIS records with confidentiality
  • Manage benefits administration, PTO tracking, and HR policy updates
  • Coordinate training, performance reviews, and in‑service education
  • Serve as HR point‑person for employee relations and conflict resolution

Office & Administrative Management

  • Maintain an efficient, organized office environment
  • Order and manage office and caregiver supplies
  • Ensure accurate documentation for state licensing and audits

Caregiver Scheduling & Coordination

  • Build and maintain weekly caregiver schedules to ensure full client coverage
  • Adjust schedules in response to absences, emergencies, or client needs
  • Match caregiver skills and availability with client requirements
  • Monitor clock‑in/out compliance and assist payroll with timekeeping data
  • Communicate schedule changes proactively to caregivers and clients

Compensation & Benefits

  • $45,000–$55,000 / year, based on experience. Comp includes salary and bonus plan.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years combined experience in HR and office administration (healthcare/home care preferred)
  • Proficient in caregiver scheduling software (e.g. AxisCare, ClearCare, alike)
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Working knowledge of employment law, benefits, and record-keeping
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and client/caregiver focus
