In this position you will be expected to acquire or further develop your skills in husbandry (e.g. feeding, sanitation, enrichment), nursing (e.g. triage, medication administration, physical exam) and training (e.g. understanding cat/dog body language, low stress handling and restraint, positive reinforcement based techniques)
Requirements and Qualifications
We are looking for graduates with an associate's or bachelor's degree who are comfortable working directly with animals in a medical and shelter environment. You should be a master of organization, comfortable on a learning curve, able to elicit cooperation and offer tangible contributions. You should thrive in a work environment where the pace and tasks change daily and collaboration brings best results.
