What you'll do

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Perform clinical tasks such as IV infusion, catheterization, wound care, and specimen collection while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Educate patients and their families about health management, medication administration, and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
  • Participate in triage processes to assess patient conditions and prioritize care effectively.
  • Support patients with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and other specialized needs.

Basic qualifications

  • Valid LPN license in accordance with state regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and nursing practices.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in critical care settings such as ICU or emergency medicine.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
  • Background in long-term care facilities or assisted living environments.
  • Proficiency in acute pain management techniques and patient assessment skills.
