Job Overview

We are a referral agency hiring a mandarin speaking live - in nanny for a lovely family in nyc for a February start date.

Must have infant and toddler experience

Kids: 2, 6 months & 2 years

Schedule: Sunday Pm-Friday Pm( day time hrs / night time on call)

All child related duties.

Must be able to travel

Flu, tdap, covid vaccinated

Duties

  • Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times, including during play, meals, and naps
  • Pre-school pick up and drop offs
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
  • Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and diapering for infants and toddlers
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, including cleaning toys and children's areas
  • Administer basic first aid when necessary and handle minor injuries promptly .
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns

Qualifications

  • At least 3 + years of experience as a professional nanny.
  • Knowledge of infant care, toddler care, preschool activities, and child development principles
  • Certification or training in first aid and CPR a must.
  • Ability to cook simple meals and assist with meal preparation for children .
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with children and parents
  • Reliable, responsible, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with kids
  • Flexibility to adapt to different family routines and schedules
  • This position is ideal for compassionate individuals passionate about caring for children and supporting their growth in a safe environment.
