Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced AS400 Programmer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RPG and SQL, with a deep understanding of manufacturing and ERP systems. This role is critical in maintaining and enhancing our AS400 systems to support our business operations and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance AS400 applications using RPG and SQL programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AS400 applications and databases.
  • Design and implement data migration strategies for ERP and manufacturing systems.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure data integrity across systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in AS400 programming, particularly with RPG and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
