As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with the public and staff, providing outstanding customer service and communication to foster a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activity as outlined in post orders.
• Collaborate with site staff and visitors in a professional manner while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Follow all instructions and protocols related to the assigned post profile and location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
