This role is responsible for both housekeeping and laundry services, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, organization, and customer service throughout the facility.

Housekeeping Duties:

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and common restrooms.
  • Change resident bedding and ensure rooms are serviced to cleanliness standards within time limits.
  • Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms.
  • Stock and maintain cleaning carts with necessary supplies.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.
  • Report shortages, damages, or security issues promptly.
  • Handle reasonable resident requests or complaints and communicate concerns as needed.
  • Maintain proper storage and organization of cleaning chemicals.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain appropriate work pace, regular attendance, and punctuality.

Laundry Duties:

  • Provide a high level of laundry service to senior residents.
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing, towels, and linens.
  • Assemble, wrap, and restock linen packs as required.
  • Track linen usage and fulfill linen requests.
  • Operate commercial washers and dryers safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized laundry room.
  • Ensure laundry supplies are stocked at all times.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation policies, including proper use of PPE.
  • Assist residents with laundry-related questions or concerns.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in housekeeping, laundry, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and remain motivated.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent prioritization and time-management skills.
  • Professionalism with speed and attention to detail.

Shift Specific Information:

  • Friday-Monday
