Role's Objective
We're looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support the company's financial forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making processes. This role will require strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leveraging financial models to drive strategy and improve performance in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Forecasting: Assist in developing and maintaining financial forecasts and models that support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Budgeting: Partner with department leaders to build and track annual budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
  • Variance Analysis: Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights into business performance, variances, and opportunities
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular management reports and dashboards summarizing key financial and operational metrics
  • Strategic Support: Support scenario analysis, long-range planning, and ad-hoc financial projects to guide company strategy
  • Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy and consistency across financial data, working closely with accounting to reconcile actuals versus forecasts
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams across Accounting, Operations, and Product to inform decisions and optimize financial performance
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to FP&A tools, processes, and automation to improve efficiency and visibility
  • BI Tools Integration: Support the implementation and integration of Business Intelligence (BI) tools, enabling seamless data flows, improved analytics capabilities, and better visualization of financial and operational metrics for actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; experience with financial modeling and forecasting
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and business metrics
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a remote environment with minimal supervision.

Preferred Candidate Experience

  • Experience in fintech, crypto, or financial services industries.
  • Exposure to SaaS or digital asset business models.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., QuickSight preferred, but other tools considered).
  • Experience with ERP or financial planning tools such as (e.g., Sage Intacct Planning preferred, but equivalent tools acceptable).
  • Passion for blockchain technology, digital assets, and data analytics.

Location/Type
This is a remote, full-time position reporting to the Head of FP&A

Salary Range
$80,000 – $110,000 depending on experience
