Thank you for your interest in employment with Southeastern Louisiana University.Southeastern Louisiana University's Office of Admissions invites applications for two Admissions Counselor/Recruiter positions. The positions report to the Assistant Director of Recruitment and are generally responsible for assisting in the planning, implementation, and daily operations associated with the recruitment process. The Counselor/Recruiter will aid the Assistant Director of Recruitment as needed in all aspects of the Admissions Office; support the goals of the Admissions Office by demonstrating a personal approach to all aspects of the recruitment process; work cooperatively with other professional staff not only in the Admissions Office but in all areas of the University; and become knowledgeable of all aspects of Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Records & Testing, and all other areas involved in the recruitment process.

The successful applicants must maintain an understanding of and assure adherence to NCAA, Southland Conference, and Louisiana Board of Regents regulations along with institutional rules.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited University by hire date

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in admissions and/or recruitment

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proficiency with automated data management, ability to communicate effectively, and evidence of strong organizational and public relations skills
Computer literacy with various software applications in the DOS/Windows environment including Microsoft Word and data management tools

Must possess a valid Louisiana driver's license and the ability to be certified through the Southeastern Driver Safety Course.
