Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team in Cape Canaveral, Florida. This role is crucial for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electro-mechanical systems used in the seaports and airports equipment industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems and will be eager to contribute to innovative projects within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regular maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on electro-mechanical systems and equipment specific to seaports and airports.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in electrical circuits, mechanical systems, and integrated assemblies.
  • Assembly: Assist in the assembly and installation of electro-mechanical components, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Testing: Perform functional tests and quality assurance checks on systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and other technicians to support the development and implementation of new technologies.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical repair and maintenance, preferably in the seaports or airports equipment industry.
  • Skills:

o Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and blueprints.

o Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and mechanical components.

o Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.

o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in electro-mechanical technology or related fields (e.g., IPC, NDT).
  • Experience with automated systems or heavy machinery.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety practices.

Working Conditions:

  • Position may require occasional travel within the USA.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Will work in a variety of environments, including operational areas of seaports and airports.
