Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with experience in high-volume manufacturing and cabinetry production. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC equipment, a solid understanding of blueprints and shop math, and a strong work ethic. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities for growth and consistent work hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Blueprint & Technical Drawing Interpretation:
  • Read and understand detailed blueprints and technical drawings for cabinet component production.
  • CNC Machine Operation:

Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC routers and other specialized woodworking machines.

  • Material Handling:

Load/unload materials and finished parts, label components accurately, and maintain organized inventory.Perform regular inspections using measurement tools to ensure components meet specifications.Perform cleaning, lubrication, coolant checks, and preventive maintenance on CNC machines and filters.Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality and precision.Assemble custom cabinets using dowel construction and perform inline finishing tasks as required.Work with production and design teams to resolve issues and ensure timely completion of work.Record machine operations, maintenance logs, and quality assurance data.Maintain a clean and safe work area, follow safety procedures, manage vacuum/dust systems, and assist in other shop tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of machine operation experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Cabinet Vision S2M software experience (strongly preferred).
  • Experience with custom cabinetry, closets, kitchens, and murphy beds.
  • Familiarity with edge banding equipment and CNC machine tools (drilling, turning, milling, boring).
  • Ability to troubleshoot CNC software/machine issues and perform tool settings adjustments.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced manufacturing shop
  • Requires wearing appropriate PPE (safety glasses, boots, hearing protection, etc.)
  • Regular exposure to machinery noise and wood dusty craftsmanship.
