The Volunteer Transportation Center, Inc. (VTC) is seeking a dedicated Corporate Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a mid-level professional who is passionate about upholding VTC's mission to provide essential, non-emergent transportation services with the highest ethical and legal standards.

The Corporate Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring VTC's compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. This includes oversight of compliance with requirements from:

  • The Office of Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG)
  • The Office of Inspector General (OIG)
  • The System for Award Management (SAM)

The successful candidate will promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and transparency while ensuring the agency maintains its ethical leadership in non-emergent transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the organization's compliance program.
  • Ensure adherence to Medicaid and other payer billing regulations.
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance issues.
  • Stay current on all relevant state and federal compliance requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance policies and best practices.
  • Coordinate with external agencies during audits or investigations.
  • Maintain SAM registration and other required certifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, billing, or regulatory oversight.
  • Experience with New York State Medicaid billing and private payer systems.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
