Kendall Auto Group is one of the largest family owned and operated dealers in the Pacific Northwest and premier employer in Soldotna. We are looking for a Service Advisor to join our Service team. At Kendall Auto of the Kenai Peninsula our Service Department is a fast-paced environment serving clients throughout the community.

Customers might purchase a few vehicles from us throughout the years, but our goal is to have lifelong service customers, and we trust our Advisors to be the first contact of Kendall in our service departments.

We are looking for candidates who have high level of customer service experience, those who can demonstrate time management, strong work ethics, and strong communication skills. The ability to make recommendations and prioritize items in order of importance to our customers is key.

Duties will include interfacing with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance, verifying work was properly performed and diagnosed, researching vehicle history to make educated recommendations, inputting and maintaining customer information, complete work tasks in an efficient and organized manner, using telephone, email, and chat systems to communicate with customers throughout the day, and scheduling service appointments.

Working conditions are primarily indoors, spending up to the full shift working on PC, standing and/or walking for short distances throughout work shift, and frequent use of telephone.

Requirements

  •  Previous experience at any new car dealership preferred 
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record 
  • Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
  • Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
  • A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
