Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in automotive diagnostics and repair. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, ensuring they are safe and reliable for our customers.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Perform automotive diagnostics using advanced tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively.
  • Execute repairs on various systems including powertrain, electrical systems, and alignment.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for vehicle maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs clearly to clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the shop.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and schematics for modern vehicles.
  • Assist with diesel engine repair and auto body repair as needed.
  • Perform welding tasks when required for specific repairs.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role is essential.
  • Dealership experience is highly preferred, particularly with GM vehicles.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive service and repair.
  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques is necessary.
  • Experience working with various types of vehicles, including diesel engines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $33.00 per hour
