Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer specializing in optoelectronic devices to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our photonic integrated circuits (PIC) and other optical devices, contributing to the development of high-quality products that meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct reliability assessments and testing for optoelectronic devices and photonic integrated circuits (PIC)
  • Develop and implement reliability test plans in accordance with industry standards such as Telcordia GR-468 and JEDEC
  • Perform failure analysis to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure device reliability during the product lifecycle
  • Analyze data and prepare detailed reports on reliability test results and device performance
  • Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices in reliability engineering and optoelectronic technologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field; a Master's degree or PhD is a plus
  • Proven experience in reliability engineering, specifically with optoelectronic devices
  • Strong knowledge of photonic integrated circuits (PIC) and optical device characteristics
  • Familiarity with reliability standards such as Telcordia GR-468 and JEDEC
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in failure analysis techniques
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
