Job Description
As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Specialist in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence will support a welcoming atmosphere while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution location.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols for incidents occurring within the logistics and distribution environment.Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred.Access control or badge experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Closing
