We are seeking a VP of Accounting to lead the accounting and financial operations. This role will oversee financial reporting, compliance, accounting processes, and team development across multiple entities. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reports for multiple entities.
  • Ensure GAAP compliance and manage audits with external CPA firms.
  • Ensure compliance with debt covenants on real estate loans.
  • Manage bank relationships, bank debt management and banking negotiations.
  • Oversee tax compliance and filings, coordinating with external tax advisors.
  • Lead core accounting functions: AP, AR, treasury/cash management, and payroll.
  • Monitor and forecast cash flow, manage intercompany accounts, and update debt/equity reconciliations.
  • Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and reconciliations.
  • Partner with HR, payroll, and consultants to streamline processes and strengthen controls.
  • Train, mentor, and develop accounting staff.

Qualifications

  • BA Accounting and CPA preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
  • Track record of managing complex accounting structures and teams.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
