Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly in memory care, nursing homes, or assisted living environments. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence in their home community.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
  • Help clients with mobility and lifting as necessary to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or emotional conditions to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with care systems.
  • Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, particularly in memory care or assisted living settings.
  • Knowledge of ADLs and patient care techniques is essential.
  • Ability to lift and assist clients as needed while ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others maintain their quality of life.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay

  • $30.00-$45.00 per visit
