As a Security Professional Unarmed Retail Patrol Driver in West Covina, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic retail or mall location. You will remain highly visible, engage with guests and tenants, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for monitoring different areas by vehicle, supporting a welcoming environment, and responding to various situations as they arise. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, concerns, or requests.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and providing assistance as directed by site leadership or emergency personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
