Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Director to oversee operations across multiple locations within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food service industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and management skills. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with food safety standards while fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Lead and manage daily operations of multiple restaurant locations, ensuring adherence to company standards in quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Oversee staff training and development programs to enhance team performance and promote career growth within the organization.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices.
- Monitor financial performance through budgeting and cost control initiatives to achieve operational goals.
- Foster a culture of excellent customer service by setting high standards for staff interactions with guests.
- Collaborate with management teams to develop strategies for improving operational efficiency and enhancing guest experiences.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback to staff members.
- Manage recruitment processes including interviewing potential candidates for various positions within the restaurants.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in hospitality management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management with a strong understanding of quick service, casual dining, or fine dining environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in kitchen management, food production, catering, and bar operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong background in cash handling and financial oversight including budgeting and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management and staff training & development.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary experience is a plus; previous experience as an assistant manager or supervisory roles is highly desirable.
