We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-oriented
Information System Security Officer
to join our team. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory frameworks while safeguarding critical IT assets.

**To be considered for this position, US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance is required. This is a funded position and is contingent upon verification of a security clearance prior to starting with Cloudshape.

Primary Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:**

  • Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls across information systems
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and system security audits
  • Monitor and report on system compliance with regulatory requirements such as NIST, FISMA, or ISO 27001
  • Review and approve system configurations, access controls, and security documentation
  • Support incident response, including identifying, reporting, and mitigating security incidents
  • Collaborate with IT, network, and application teams to maintain a secure environment
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior security personnel

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5 + years of experience
  • An ability to work independently, multi-task, and communicate effectively will be required for this role.
  • US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and regulatory frameworks
  • Familiarity with system monitoring, network security, and access control mechanisms
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
