Job Description:

This gym is seeking a reliable Licensed Fitness Coach to join its team. As a Fitness Coach, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the facility runs smoothly by providing training and customer support to our members. This role will also assist with tasks related to member services, sales, scheduling, and general office duties.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Physical Instructor in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
  • Passion for fitness.
  • A love for servicing clients.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities:

Exercise Training

  • Observe participants and inform them of corrective measures necessary for skill improvement.
  • Evaluate individuals' abilities, needs, and physical conditions.
  • Offer alternatives during classes to accommodate different levels of fitness.
  • Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations governing the use of exercise equipment.
  • Teach and demonstrate the use of training equipment.

Customer Service

  • Greet and assist members and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails to the appropriate staff members.
  • Assist with processing membership applications and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of member information and attendance.
  • Handle inquiries and resolve member concerns or complaints promptly.
  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility.
  • Perform other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.
