Better Trucks is one of the fastest-growing regional last-mile carriers in the nation, and we're just getting started.

Following our recent strategic partnership and investment from Uber Freight, we now serve 68% of the U.S. population, with plans to reach 85% by the end of 2026.

As a technology-first organization, we are redefining the last-mile delivery landscape with an advanced, purpose-built technology stack that drives efficiency, accuracy, and an unparalleled customer experience for the world's leading retailers, e-commerce firms, and fulfillment centers.

This momentum creates an immediate need for a Head of Partnerships to scale our ecosystem and accelerate our market expansion.

In this role, you'll identify, cultivate, and activate high-impact partnerships across multi-carrier shipping platforms, parcel auditing firms, logistics partners, and ecosystem providers. You'll work closely with executive leadership, sales, operations, and product teams to ensure partnerships deliver measurable value for all parties.

Successful candidates bring a positive attitude, high energy, and curiosity to the role, combined with exceptional relationship-building skills, strategic vision, and an innate drive to excel. Above all else, we're looking for builders who can turn introductions into sustainable competitive advantages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with Better Trucks' aggressive growth objectives and national expansion plans.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize partnership opportunities with multi-carrier shipping platforms (Shipwise, Shippo, ShipStation, ShipEngine, Easypost, Shipium, ProShip, Enveyo, ShipStore, Shipware, etc.), parcel auditing firms, 3PLs, and adjacent logistics providers.
  • Identify and build revenue generative arrangements with other companies to boost bottom line revenue
  • Build and manage deep relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to ensure seamless API integrations and smooth onboarding of partnership initiatives.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to leverage partnerships for pipeline generation, co-marketing opportunities, and brand positioning.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on partnership commitments and ensure exceptional partner experience.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track partnership impact on revenue, network expansion, and operational efficiency.
  • Represent Better Trucks at industry events, conferences, and partner forums to strengthen ecosystem relationships.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances, preferably in logistics, transportation, technology, or supply chain sectors.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling partnership programs that delivered measurable business impact.
  • Deep understanding of the last-mile delivery ecosystem, including multi-carrier shipping platforms, parcel audit solutions, fulfillment operations, and carrier networks.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to influence without authority and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify hidden opportunities in complex ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with executives and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Experience managing API integrations and working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary with strong performance-based incentives.
  • Equity opportunities in a fast-growing company backed by strategic investors.
  • Comprehensive benefits package (healthcare, 401(k), etc.).
