We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, load and unload procedures, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Home delivery for Home Depot, Lowes and Best Buy account. Final mile. Dropoff and some installations required, Experience is preferred, willing to train.

26 Foot Box Truck and Lift gate.

Responsibilities

  • Operate box trucks to transport goods to various locations. .
  • Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery points.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. .

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license non (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
  • Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of route planning and navigation systems is beneficial.
