Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Highway Construction Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of highway and roadway construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing large-scale transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all phases of highway construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and quality control.
  • Coordinate daily activities with field teams, subcontractors, engineers, and inspectors.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT standards and environmental requirements.
  • Oversee project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to design specifications.
  • Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, change orders, RFIs, and cost forecasts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all project activities.
  • Mentor and support field supervisors and project staff.
