We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our growing, dynamic dental practice. With an average of 30 new patients a month, well-trained and certified staff, including 3 full-time hygienists and multiple EFDAs, there is sufficient support for an associate. This is a very technology-forward practice utilizing DANDY Trios 3 scanners, CBCT, and AI scheduling. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This role involves performing a variety of dental procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and fostering a positive environment for both staff and patients. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our owning dentist and team to deliver high-quality dental services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations to determine oral health status.
  • Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient management and record-keeping.
  • Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe clinical environment.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry to enhance patient care efficiency.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best possible care.

Skills

  • Proficient in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy as it pertains to dentistry.
  • Experience with medical imaging techniques for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  • Familiarity with dental fabrication processes is an asset.
