Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Substitute Cook to join our team. As a Substitute Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to recipes and dietary requirements. Your role will involve working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety, and delivering high-quality meals to our children.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines

- Ensure all food is cooked and presented in a timely manner

- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures

- Assist with meal planning and inventory management

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area

- Monitor food stock levels

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in the food industry as a Cook or similar role

- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Proficiency in using knives and other kitchen equipment for food preparation
