As we continue to grow, we're seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our dedicated team of professionals in downtown Chicago.

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and completion of construction projects. This role requires excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure client satisfaction from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, from pre-construction planning to project closeout.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
  • Prepare, review, and manage budgets, cost estimates, and project schedules.
  • Lead on-site progress meetings and maintain detailed documentation of project activities.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and vendor relationships.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively identify potential risks or issues.
  • Review and approve project invoices, change orders, and submittals.
  • Provide clear communication and regular updates to clients and senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects (interior build-outs preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and scheduling software.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and general office software.
  • OSHA safety certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $6, $8,040.00 per month
