Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Project Coordinator
to support the successful implementation of
Workday Financials
. This individual will assist the project team in planning, tracking, and executing key activities to ensure timely delivery of milestones and effective communication across all stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience supporting enterprise software implementations, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.

Tampa, FL (On-site)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager with day-to-day project operations and coordination activities.
- Update and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, and related documentation.
- Track progress against milestones and deliverables; escalate risks, issues, and dependencies as needed.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions, including logistics such as travel, meals, and room setup.
- Document meeting minutes, action items, and decisions; create and manage Jira tickets as required.
- Support management of project RAIDQ items within Jira, monitoring due dates and conducting follow-ups.
- Assist with project budgeting, resource tracking, and vendor coordination.
- Facilitate alignment between functional teams (Finance, IT, HR, etc.) and Workday implementation partners.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Contribute to change management and training efforts during the rollout phase.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation within SharePoint, Teams, Confluence, and Jira.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in
Business, Information Systems
, or a related field. - Minimum
2 years of experience
in project coordination or project support roles. - Experience supporting
ERP implementations
;
Workday Financials experience preferred. - Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite
(Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams). - Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with
project management methodologies
(Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). - Working knowledge of
Confluence
and
Jira
. - Exposure to
testing, change management, and training coordination
activities.
