Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated LPC/LMFT Board Approved Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential for providing supervision and support to student interns and clinicians in their professional development while ensuring high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral health, with a strong commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for emerging professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Board-approved clinical supervision and guidance to students, LPC, and LMFT candidates, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and best practices.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions focused on case management, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment planning.
  • Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy.
  • Oversee data collection, medical documentation, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Support clinicians in developing skills in crisis management and intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.
  • Engage in clinical research initiatives to improve therapeutic practices within the organization.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper coding using ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding systems.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid LPC license with board-approved supervisory status.
  • Extensive experience in psychotherapy, including individual/group counseling and behavioral therapy.
  • Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and experience working with children, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, patient assessment processes, and clinical research methodologies.
  • Familiarity with special education needs, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and home & community care experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to foster relationships with clients and supervisees alike.
