Katy, Texas, United States HYBITS Full time

About Us:

Hybits Inc is an innovative technology startup on a mission to transform the immigration process. We are developing a cutting-edge software application designed to streamline workflows for immigration attorneys and paralegals. As we are in the initial phases of product development, we are looking for a foundational team member who can wear multiple hats and play a crucial role in shaping our product's future.

The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Testing and Training Specialist. This unique role sits at the intersection of technology, immigration law, and customer success. You will be the key to ensuring our application is robust, user-friendly, and meets the real-world needs of immigration professionals.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct end-to-end testing of our application, leveraging your knowledge of immigration processes. Once the product is validated, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive user guides and training our early-adopter customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a promising startup and make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Application Testing:
  • Perform thorough, hands-on testing of our software application from start to finish, simulating real-world use cases for immigration cases (e.g., visa petitions, client management, document assembly).
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, usability issues, and inconsistencies with a keen eye for detail.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the development team on functionality, user experience, and workflow efficiency.
  • User Guide and Documentation Creation:
  • Develop clear, concise, and well-structured user guides, training manuals, and knowledge base articles.
  • Create step-by-step instructions and tutorials, using screenshots and other visual aids to enhance understanding.
  • Customer Training and Support:
  • Onboard and train early customers (immigration attorneys and paralegals) on how to effectively use our software.
  • Conduct virtual training sessions and webinars, answering questions and ensuring customer confidence.
  • Gather customer feedback and act as a liaison between the customers and our product team.

Who You Are (Qualifications & Experience):

  • Must-Have:
  • Previous experience in a software testing (QA) or technical writing role.
  • A "testing mindset" – you are naturally curious, meticulous, and enjoy trying to break processes to find flaws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex software concepts in simple terms.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software applications quickly.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and manage their own time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Customer-focused with a patient and professional demeanor.
  • Nice-to-Have:
  • Business knowledge of U.S. immigration visas, forms, and procedures, ideally gained in a law firm setting (as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Case Manager, or similar role)
  • Experience with customer training or support.
  • Personal experience with the immigration process that provides deep insight into user pain points.

What We Offer:

  • Direct participation in our growth through a generous sales commission structure.
  • The opportunity to be an early, impactful member of a startup and shape our product and culture.
  • Remote work flexibility once the initial training is complete.
  • A collaborative and supportive work environment where your ideas are valued.

How to Apply:

If you are passionate about improving the immigration landscape and thrive in a dynamic, hands-on role, we would love to hear from you.
