• Has a detailed working knowledge of department functions and is responsible for completing work assignments in the sterile process department.
Job Requirements

• Education
◦ Required: Graduate from School of Surgical Technology OR High School diploma or equivalent AND Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)

• Experience
◦ No prior experience required

• Skills
◦ Excellent Communication Skills
◦ Working knowledge of computers
◦ Ability to organize instrument sets
◦ Able to pass a written proficiency review.
◦ Organized and self-motivated with an attention to detail.

• Licensure/Certification/Registration
◦ Preferred: CRCST or CBSPD (Required if no Surgical Technology Degree)Education:
Required: Graduate from School of Surgical Technology OR High School diploma or equivalent AND Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
