The E-Commerce Listing Associate supports Goodwill's mission of transforming lives through the power of work by helping generate revenue through online sales. This position is responsible for processing, researching, photographing, pricing, and uploading donated items to Goodwill's online platforms, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional presentation for each listing. This role contributes directly to the sustainability of our retail operations and the funding of education, workforce development, and community programs across our region.


Essential Functions

  • Conduct detailed online research to determine accurate descriptions, pricing, and category placement for donated items.

  • Write clear, compelling, and grammatically correct product listings for online platforms such as eBay and Amazon.

  • Photograph merchandise to highlight key features and ensure images meet quality and branding standards.

  • Upload listings to online platforms with accurate titles, categories, and pricing.

  • Assist with order fulfillment, including preparing, packaging, and shipping sold items to customers.

  • Maintain organized records of inventory and ensure timely posting and shipping of items.

  • Support a clean, safe, and efficient work environment that reflects Goodwill's values.

  • Work independently and proactively manage daily tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the E-Commerce operation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong writing and typing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency with online platforms such as Google, eBay, and Amazon.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Picture Manager; basic Excel skills preferred.

  • Ability to research items online for identification, pricing, and market trends.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
