Job Summary:
PranaSleep is seeking a high-impact Field Sales Representative to drive retail performance across assigned territories through training, merchandising execution, coaching, and service support. This role operates in close partnership with the PranaSleep Account Executive and is directly accountable for increasing in-territory revenue and retail success.
The Field Sales Rep serves as a field operator, brand ambassador, and retail trainer—bringing PranaSleep's artisan craftsmanship, premium materials, and uncompromising quality to life on the sales floor. This role exists to translate brand excellence into measurable retail performance.
At PranaSleep, we don't just make mattresses—we craft sleep sanctuaries. As a Field Sales Rep, you ensure that every in-store interaction reflects the care, intention, and integrity behind every product we create.
Territory & Travel Expectations
- Territory-based, multi-door, multi-environment role
- Ideally located in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, or New York (open to other U.S. locations)
- Up to 75% travel required
Key Performance Outcomes
Success in this role is measured by revenue growth and retail partner satisfaction. Key indicators include:
- Increased Average Unit Selling Price (AUSP) and conversion
- Improved sell-through and door productivity
- Stronger retail associate advocacy and product confidence
- Reduced service friction and improved customer satisfaction
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Revenue Through Retail Partnerships
- Drive top-line growth through in-store training, execution, and performance coaching
- Partner closely with the Account Executive to identify growth opportunities and remove sales barriers
- Analyze store-level insights and translate them into actionable recommendations that improve productivity
Training & Coaching
- Understand each retailer's sales process and merchandising philosophy and work within it
- Deliver high-impact product, sleep system, and selling-skills training that brings PranaSleep's story to life
- Coach store teams to influence behavior change—not just deliver presentations—so they become authentic advocates for restorative, transformative sleep
- Build long-term associate advocacy for PranaSleep's premium offerings by helping them understand the soul of the brand and the science of sleep
Merchandising & In-Store Execution
- Ensure merchandising standards reflect PranaSleep's premium brand and design ethos
- Optimize floor presence through strategic placement, storytelling, and presentation
- Identify gaps and opportunities in assortment, merchandising, and positioning to support AUSP growth
Account Performance Support
- Coach store leaders on performance drivers and selling strategies rooted in PranaSleep's philosophy of quality over quantity
- Support new door launches, resets, and key promotional events with precision and pride
- Serve as a trusted retail partner focused on retail success, brand integrity, and long-term relationships
Service & Post-Purchase Experience
- Support service and warranty resolutions in partnership with internal teams
- Treat every service interaction as an opportunity to deepen retailer and consumer trust
- Ensure post-purchase experiences reinforce that PranaSleep will always stand behind our craft, our products, our retail partners and their consumers.
Qualifications & Professional Profile
Required Experience
- Proven success in retail sales, preferably in furniture or mattress environments
- Strong understanding of in-store selling dynamics and customer engagement
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 75%)
Preferred Experience
- Wholesale, field training, or field merchandising experience
- Experience managing multi-door territories with strong route planning and cadence
- Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems
