About the Role
Hemp Supply is seeking a motivated and outgoing
Territory Sales Representative / Brand Ambassador
to join our growing team. In this independent contractor role, you will represent Hemp Supply across North Carolina and the East Coast, serving as the face of our brand at business partner locations, trade events, and retail engagements.
You'll be responsible for building relationships with distributors, manufacturers, and retail partners, while driving product sales and brand awareness through education and exceptional customer engagement.
This position is ideal for someone who loves connecting with people, has experience in the hemp or cannabis industry, and thrives in a fast-paced, travel-heavy, start-up environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and expand relationships with new and existing business customers to increase sales and market reach.
- Identify and pursue potential clients within your territory through proactive outreach, networking, and cold calling.
- Manage and grow bulk sales accounts while ensuring strong customer satisfaction.
- Communicate product features, benefits, and pricing clearly and persuasively to clients and partners.
- Schedule and conduct in-person sales visits, product demonstrations, and partnership meetings.
- Close deals by building trust, addressing client needs, and negotiating pricing and contract terms.
- Maintain accurate forecasts to ensure timely product production and delivery.
- Stay informed on product developments, competitor activity, and hemp industry trends.
- Consistently prospect for new business while meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Record all activities and results in company systems and report regularly to the Sales Manager.
- Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to maintain visibility and support accounts.
What You Bring
- Minimum one (1) year of hemp or related industry experience.
- Proven success in B2B sales, with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach.
- Strong understanding of product education and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CRM tools (Odoo, HubSpot, or Salesforce preferred).
- Professional appearance, reliability, and a strong sense of accountability.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a distributed team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 80% regionally.
