We're seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our physician-led team in Melbourne, Florida. Our work spans inpatient rehab units, outpatient spine services, and hospital-based pain programs, helping patients recover from injury, surgery, or illness and return to better quality of life.
Position Overview
As a part-time midlevel provider, you'll work collaboratively with an experienced physician to care for patients across multiple settings. You'll manage pain conditions, spine-related issues, and rehab cases while maintaining a predictable, flexible schedule (typically 2–4 days per week or selected half-days).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
- Collaborate with supervising physician to develop treatment plans
- Perform joint or trigger point injections (if trained/credentialed)
- Educate patients on pain strategies, rehab goals, and self-care
- Maintain accurate documentation and support continuity of care
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care
Qualifications
- Florida license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Required)
- DEA License & prescriptive authority (or eligible to obtain)
- Experience or interest in pain management, rehabilitation, or spine care
- Comfortable working semi-independently with physician support
- Strong communication skills and patient rapport
- For PAs: must be eligible for a physician supervision agreement
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $50.00 – $65.00 per hour (based on experience and availability)
- Bonus opportunities for efficiency and productivity
- Flexible schedule: Choose 2–4 weekdays or half-day options
