Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations. Experience in various driving roles such as limousine, shuttle driving, or paratransit is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate vehicles to transport passengers according to scheduled routes and times.
  • Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle, performing routine inspections and necessary maintenance.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as addressing any inquiries or concerns during transit.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and passenger counts.
  • Assist in the training of new drivers as needed.
  • Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents that may arise during transport.

Experience

  • Previous experience in commercial driving, including but not limited to limousine driving, paratransit services, van driving, shuttle driving, school bus driving, or bus driving is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with passengers of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; additional certifications for specific vehicle types may be required.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
