Seeking: Certified Pilates Instructors

Pay Range: $50-$60 (depending on experience and background)

Part Time: 2-4 Weekday Mornings/Evenings, 1 Weekend Day hours/week)

Join the team at Mercedes Club We are looking for newly or recently certified (comprehensive) Pilates Instructors to teach at our Private Pilates Studio. With brand new Balanced Body equipment, a warm and inviting community, access to our entire high end fitness facility (2 pools), you'll be joining a team of Master Instructors and get to work with the kindest Members in Hell's Kitchen. Pilates Instructor

Reports To: Pilates Coordinator, Sales & Operations Manager, AGM, GM

Overview: Design and teach safe, effective, results oriented Pilates sessions providing improved core strength, alignment, body awareness, and more balanced mobility and stability for Members. Maintain the standards of cleanliness and proper use of equipment in the Pilates studio while ensuring a high level of Member service, strong sales productivity, and consistent client base.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Programming

*Document Member information accurately, neatly, completely, and in a timely manner.

*Follow company protocol for greeting, goal setting, health history, assessments, program design, and documentation.

*Develop safe and effective Pilates exercise programs utilizing progression and are consistent with Member's goals/needs.

*Provide clear, concise instruction along with proper use of equipment through verbal, visual, and tactile cues.

Sales:

*Consistently demonstrate a sales through service philosophy.

*Take a proactive approach to client retention by developing solid relationships and serving each member above and beyond expectation.

*Maintain a minimum of 10 hours per week with the majority of the hours from Private Pilates sessions

*Treat Complimentary sessions like any other Private Pilates session providing top quality instruction and service.

Additional Duties:

*Circulate throughout the gym when available to build rapport with Members and Club Staff. Answer questions, or direct Members to those with more information on the subject. Build and maintain an awareness of and enthusiasm for all Club services.

*Be courteous and friendly, greeting Members and Staff by name whenever possible.

*Demonstrate genuine interest in and dedication to improving the health and fitness of the Members.

*Enforce Member rules and regulations.

Job Requirements:

* Comprehensive Pilates Certification from accredited/recognized program.

* Current CPR Certification

*Comprehensive knowledge of current fitness trends and safety requirements.

* Availability 2-4 weekday mornings and/or evenings and one weekend day.

Additional Education/Experience:

*Undergrad/Graduate Degree

*Continued education courses/certifications

*Several years of teaching experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
